|    Zemax Amnesty Program    |
|    14 Nov 15 16:04:15    |
From: rlombardo3@gmail.com              To Zemax Users with Expired Support,              I have a Zemax key with support that expired in 2011. When I saw the memo       last year stating the raised penalties if you didn't renew soon, I wrote a       cryptic letter stating this was not a viable method to get back old       customers and recommended an amnesty program at reduced upgrade cost.              I received an e-mail (and later a call) stating I could now get up to date       for $890, versus $3560 if I updated by year-end 2015. It's a reasonably       good deal I guess but as I am mostly retired and use Zemax infrequently, I       am not sure I will buy back in.              I just thought I would let other key holders know in case they weren't       contacted. Please note whether you are taking advantage of this       reduced-cost program.              Thanks,              - Russell Lombardo              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
