   I attended a seminar on integrated recently, by a researcher   
   at UCSD, most of which sailed over my head.   
      
   Some of the jargon  -   
      
   chi-3 (can't print the greek letter here)   
   optical pump   
   depletion of the optical pump   
   micro ring   
      
   Any help available re these terms?
