   Funny you should ask. I designed this laser about 1984 for Quanta Ray. Indeed   
   I did the supply which was, and still is, state of the art. It is an LLC   
   converter. Later SP (who did not understand how it worked, after I quit)   
   bought an OEM supply to    
   replace mine. No, I did not provide a schematic, as PS was a key item. It   
   would regulate to  0.1 % It was a resonant ASCR half bridge. Supply was about   
   30 years ahead of its time. LLC is considered state of the art, even today.   
   There are two air core toroids in mine , about 5 inches across major axis, and   
   stacked, one over the other.Very unusual parts, to minimize external B fields   
   associated with the resonance of the device. I designed them.   
   If mine, you probably blew the ASCRs and that is a major problem. Fuse (high   
   speed) may have blown . Check that too.

   Does this supply employ  2 ea, S7310N ASCRS for switching? There are 2, easily   
   visable, just in front of the fan, on heat sink stacks.
