I lived and worked in Colorado Springs in 1992. We lived not far from the   
   garden of the gods and we visited the camera abscura... it was really great.    
   I remember the daylight sky being projected onto the concave disk and you   
   could see the the night sky    
   and stars.. it was very cool and educational for the kids.    
   Sorry to hear it is no longer there.
