XPost: sci.space.policy, sci.physics       From: jfmezei.spamnot@vaxination.ca              newbie question:              If you require "mirrors" that reflect all that the sun is throwing at       the probe to prevent it from frying, how can sensors within the probe       look at the sun?              And if the goal is to filter out 99.9999% so that sensors within the       probe still have something to measure, can one really have truly neutral       filters that will apply the 99.9999% equally to every type of       wavelength, particle and whatever radiation the sun is throwing at it?              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
