   Several months ago I wrote and submitted a critique of the   
   research study "Characteristics and Sources of Allegations of   
   Ritualistic Child Abuse" by Gail Goodman, Phillip Shaver,   
   and Bette Bottoms, to the Office of the President of the   
   University of California School system for review.   
      
   This study has been quoted world-wide in attempts to   
   prove that the "scientific" community found no evidence of   
   widespread satanic ritual crimes against children in the   
   United States.   
      
   I was surprised to discover that there were many serious   
   problems and flaws within this study, including the fact that the   
   researchers did not correctly analyze the legal findings of   
   social services; they did not design an appropriate perpetrator/victim   
   scale in which to measure intergenerational child abuse - but they   
   kept insiting there was no evidence to support that possibility -   
   and they blatantly miscategorized cases of obvious ritual abuse.   
      
   I have no idea why this study has not been exposed before
