   Ryon Gambill was charged with resisting arrest, obstruction of justice and   
   assault and battery following an incident at the Indio Super 8 Motel.   
      
   Dr. Jann Gumbiner of 4982 Tamarack Way, Irvine, CA 92612 was wearing only a   
   towel when she fled to the Super 8 lobby seeking assistance.   
      
   She had been in a room registered to Ryon Gambill of 75147 La Sierra Drive,   
   Palm Desert, CA 92211.   
      
   Gumbiner claimed Gambill had assaulted her. The front desk staff called the   
   Indio Police Department. Gumbiner was also given a housekeeper’s uniform until   
   her clothing could be retrieved from the room.   
      
   Gambill had to be restrained and was taken into custody. He claimed Gumbiner   
   had offered sex for money.   
   
Gumbiner claimed she and Gambill have been in a consensual relationship   
   but that Gambill had been abusive during this encounter. Gumbiner’s belongings   
   were retrieved and she was not charged with indecent exposure.   
      
   Gumbiner has no arrest history. Gambill has a record including harassment,   
   extortion, obstruction of justice and several serious traffic citations.
