So God paused the genetic problems of continued incest?

The first generation or two may not have any significant
deformities. But by the time we got to where we are, the generic
abnormalities would be so pronounced, we would be lucky to function.

Which supports the idea that humans did not, and cannot,
originate from just one male and one female as the Bible claims.

If the Bible is to be believed, this cannot have happened. There
was no "fresh blood" to introduce.

I can accept a common ancestor, as you prove you do. But Adam and
   Eve will not be one.

   >so for selfish self promoting reasons.

I didn't, and wouldn't, try to pick my children's partners. They
aren't stupid, and were raised to be able to make their own choices.
So far, this approach has been very successful.

Probably. But that's not the point I was making. You and I
wouldn't be communicating at all because computers wouldn't exist. We
would be too busy trying to find food to eat to worry about much else.
