Properly translated from greek to todays English it would read "it covered
the land” or a "darkness covered the all the land”

"And it was now about the sixth hour. And a darkness came over the whole land
until the ninth hour. The sun's light failed, and the curtain of the inner
sanctuary was torn into two parts down the center. And Jesus, crying out with
a loud voice said, Father, into your hands I entrust my spirit. And having
said this, He breathed out His life. Now, the captain of one hundred Roman
soldiers having seen this that had taken place, glorified God saying, Truly
this man was upright in character. And all the people who had gathered
together because of this spectacle, viewing attentively the things that had
taken place, beating their breasts for grief, were returning."

   Luke was not a Jew.

   > Not only that, the magic eclipse happened at the time of a full moon.

You keep repeating that statement, which is absurdly false. Why?
And even if you could have been right, all this happened during daylight
   hours.
