   DHA.

   Know what it is?

   Google it.

   It's literally "Brain food."

It's an Omega-3, and "Essential" fatty acid.

Google the word "Essential," if you're uncertain.

Humans need DHA if we want large, intelligent brains and our
bodies have the ability to synthesize it. But...

But we're lousy at synthesizing DHA, men worse than women.

(Probably because woman are the ones who bear children so
   it's more important for them)

AND, now get this, the people who claim to be able to
determine dates from DNA -- molecular dating -- say that
the mutation which arose allowing for improved synthesis
is DNA (which, though improved, still sucks) is on the
   other of 80,000 years old.

   That's not very old.

Humans -- the genus Homo -- date back at least 2.5 million
years, approximately. We are usually said to begin with
   Homo habilis...

So for the vast majority of the existence of humans -- even
so called MODERN humans, by the reckoning pale anthropology
(which is a fake science) -- we lacked this mutation allowing
for the "Improved" synthesis of DHA... "Improved" but still
   quite sucky.

This is stupid. DHA is necessary -- "Essential" -- and we
can't have our big, intelligent brains without it, yet we
are totally shitty at synthesizing it AND as bad as we are
at synthesizing it, FOR THE VAST MAJORITY OF OUR HISTORY we
were a lot, Lot, LOT worse!

Clearly we needed to be getting our DHA from somewhere, our
ancestors, and that somewhere is the marine environment.

DHA is abundant in sea food. Even sea foods with very little
DHA appear as ABUNDANT in comparison to terrestrial sources.

         ...things like shrimp, for instance.

Do the Google: Foods rich in DHA

So there's two competing theories on human development.

   #1. African savanna nonsense.

This is where an ancestor fell out of a tree, stumbled upon
a savanna and immediately stood upright and grew a big brain
though it lacked the DHA necessary to do so.

   #2. Aquatic Ape Theory

This is where our ancestors began exploiting marine resources,
very high in protein, a very great source for ESSENTIAL fatty
acids, and then acquired adaptations that allowed them to take
   advantage of this diet.

There's more, there's a lot more but you honestly don't need
to get any further than DHA to see the need for an Aquatic Ape
   ancestor.
