   There isn't "An" amount, it fluctuates wildly. Where did you get   
   that claim? I just performed a rather exhaustive 30 second Google   
   search without finding anything close to confirming it.   
      
   The fact is that most of the sun's energy falls along the equator   
   and then is redistributed across the globe by the currents. This   
   is why changes to the ocean currents can spark an ice age -- cold   
   spots develop.   
      
   Nice France is roughly just as far north as Toronto Canada, yet   
   averages a December temperature roughly 20F higher...   
      
   Same planet. It's just that the energy is never distributed   
   uniformly. This is also why Antarctica is so cold, and how you   
   know all the Gwobull Warbling "Science" is a fraud. They often   
   claim antartica is warming. But it can't. It froze over when   
   both temperature & CO2 were much higher. WHY it froze over is   
   because of the formation of the circumpolar current, which   
   effectively walls it off from warmer ocean waters traveling   
   from the equator.   
      
   NONE OF THIS is any explanation for your "FEEDBACK," this   
   claim that heat will cause everything to freeze.
