   For something to be cyclic, there must be a cycle!!  How many 300   
   million-year ice ages were there?!  If only one, that is not cyclic!   
   And, besides, the word that I used was "are" as opposed to "were", and   
   so, yes, there *are* no million-plus year cycles to the Earth's climate.   
     Once again, you are ignoring the fact that as our Beloved Star, the   
   Sun, ages it will get brighter & brighter!  And, so, someday, all of the   
   ice in our World will be gone, forever.  Question is if Humanity is   
   hastening that process or not, and I think that a World with a CO2   
   concentration of 1000 ppm or more is going to be fundamentally different   
   than the World in which live our lives as of today.
