   Some scientific papers on time travel exist (e.g., wormholes), but they   
   are not considered to be mainstream.  But of the 5 or so million   
   scientific papers that are published each & every year, you cannot point   
   to a single one on retrocausality, can you?  (I suspect that of the   
   millions of published papers that there are at least a few on this   
   subject!)  As such, the whole concept is not (yet) mainstream, which   
   means that we have every reject to either reject the idea outright or at   
   least suspend judgment on it.
