   I'm still not getting it, so sorry!  Let's try this hypothetical -- if   
   Venus' atmosphere were 100% CO2 and nothing else, what would the   
   temperature at its surface be?  If I am understanding you here, a world   
   with just CO2 in its atmosphere, regardless of the amount, would be   
   identical to a world with no atmosphere.  Is this what you are   
   claiming??  If not, how then is CO2 not a greenhouse gas?!
