   Holocene to itself and claiming that it doesn't   
   match.

   Climate is so variable, PROVEN variable, that the   
   only way to determine what is and is not "Normal"   
   for the Holocene is to wait until it's over and   
   then document what it was.   
      
   That's it.   
      
   It's exactly how we determine what was normal,   
   what was "Natural" for any other period in the   
   earth's history.   
      
   If you want to determine if there's anything the   
   least bit unusual about the Holocene, you've got   
   to compare it to other interglacial periods. But   
   your AGW is falsified if we do that.   
      
   If you want to look only within the Holocene --   
   because, say, you're dishonest and don't give a   
   damn about science -- then you must compare the   
   post industrial period with pre industrial periods.   
   This way you can see if human industrialization,   
   fossil fuel use, warmed the planet. But such a   
   comparison FALSIFIES your AGW again, so you can't
