   Of course temperatures have been increasing for nearly 300 years.  But   
   in the Roman times, two thousands years ago, they were higher : fossil   
   wood dated 2000 years ago has been found 300 m above the current tree   
   line. 0,3 x 6,5 = 2,0 °C.
