   Of course it does, because temperature variations occur BEFORE carbon   
   dioxide variations.   
   Now, let us suppose that carbon dioxide cause a substantial (x2)   
   increase in temperatures. The "climate system" would be unstable for   
   small variations of CO2 concentrations. It is not : those variations   
   occur EACH YEAR and temperatures oscillate gently.   
   The transistions between ice ages and inter-glacials precede CO2   
   variations, thus, again, CO2 cannot be the cause. Astronomical   
   parameters obviously play a role, but probably not exclusive.
