Did Mars lose it's magnetic field due to - for example - a cooling core -
less fluid - less movement = less gravitational field - and then lose
atmosphere, or did it never have much gravitational field? I am assuming
that volcanic activity on Mars is less than it was, therefore the planet
core is cooler, and therefore less fluid?
