   No.  The Earth's motion around the Sun is known very accurately, and our   
   distance from the Sun is quite stable.  (It varies slightly with the   
   season, because Earth's orbit is not quite circular, but both the pattern   
   of variation and the average distance are stable.)   
      
   The Sun overwhelmingly dominates Earth's motion.  Speaking loosely, Earth   
   orbits the center of the galaxy only because the Sun does so.
