     Is there a newsgroup, public or private, seriously devoted to space   
   elevator science and discussion?   
      
     I ask because I'm writing a novel based on space elevators, and I'd   
   love some discussion, but I really don't have time to sort thru   
   bazillions of posts.   
      
     If not, can anyone direct me to a forum where there is really serious   
   discussion about the concept? I've found quite a few forums where such   
   is being discussed on the web, but nothing quite like what I am   
   searching for.
