   I'd reckon the world's terrierorists might like the idea too.. "Man-made   
   Meteors Rain Down on Captial City" - such glorious headlines!! ;-)   
      
   Depending upon how long it takes to re-load the thing, it wouldn't even   
   matter what you loaded it with, any nearby rock would do - and orbital   
   velocity wouldn't necessarily be required, either.   
      
   IIRC, the Nazi's tried a similar thing once...  Politically, it'll never   
   happen.
