From: X@Xer.com              (Please excuse double post - I also sent this to sci.space.history)              Hi all              I've seen lots of spectacular images produced by the various Mars rovers and       their landers, and by the Viking landers in the 70s, but all the images       appear to be taken during daylight and 'good weather' hours.              Is this some kind of technical, lighting, or temperature issue, or have I       just been looking in the wrong places?              I am particularly interested in any image (photograph, picture, what is the       correct technical term?) showing a Martian night sky and one showing any       kind of heavy weather.              A Martian dust storm or lightning would be spectacular. Have such events       ever been recorded?                     Any help, hints or useful abuse appreciated.              Thanks and regards       Frank Scrooby              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
