    You're right. I had to add two SRBs to the stack, to provide   
   enough thrust to get the thing to work... but it DOES work. Got a   
   final Delta-V of not quite 10km/s for an orbiter with a 30-tonne   
   payload... and that's not counting the benefits of getting rid of the   
   insulation. (Mainly because I have *no* idea of how much of a weight   
   decrease that would be...)
