|    Question about air processing on ISS    |
|    28 Oct 05 13:53:41    |
From: nospam@nospam.com              I read a news item about the original air processing machine on the       ISS having been broken for some time, and the astronauts depending       on the older "oxygen candles". Did the origninal machine produce       Oxygen by cracking Carbon Dioxide? If so, what was the chemical       (electrochemical?) process involved?              --       Please reply to: | "Any sufficiently advanced incompetence is       pciszek at panix dot com | indistinguishable from malice."       Autoreply is disabled |              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
