   One should also note that, unlike a typical terrestrial powerplant,   
   the output of an SPS could be wheeled across large distances by   
   modifying the beam.  It's possible, for example, for a single   
   SPS to send part of its output to North America and part   
   to South America. or to wheel between the east and west coasts   
   of the US.  SPS 'baseload' could be averaged over a much larger   
   area than terrestrial 'baseload'.
