I think calcium chloride is probably the best bet, but if       > anyone can suggest something better ..       >       Problem is, salts ARE corrosive, even if much less than acids.       Also, there is danger of pump damage in case of crystalization.       Proper precaution rinsing procedure is needed.              Solutions of salts of light elements       have to be concentrated to reach density 1.4, like CaCL2, or K2CO3,       with crystalization risk. viscosity has to be respected as well.              Using heavy metal salts ( Ag, Pb, Tl ) is not cheap nor safe to health,       and can be corrosive.              Non ionic formulas are seldom so dense, with exception of chlorinated       solvents or similar. But neither cheap nor safe.              Too many limiting conditions may lead to zero set.              Like there is sometimes said software often fits       just 2 of attributes to be free, fast , easy to use              --       Poutnik ( the Czech word for a wanderer )              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
