|    Gentian Violet in Inkjet printer?    |
|    21 Oct 15 18:07:48    |
On the face of it it seems I could use GV solution in an inkjet as a cheaper       alternative to the usual black inks. Ingredients are water, 10% alcohol & GV.       Or water, glycerin, GV.              Is there any reason to not do this? Anyone have any idea what concentration to       try first?              The idea is to find rock bottom cost inkjet ink. Colour is unimportant as long       as it's readable.              I'm also aware it fades in time. Any suggestions for the cheapest possible       additive to give some residual legibility are welcome.                     thanks       NT              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
