   This argument works well for Venus, where unlike Earth, the atmosphere   
   grades into a supercritical fluid. A supercritical fluid is also a   
   super-solvent. James E. Hansen published the results of his Ph.D. research   
   in the Astrophysical Journal 1967 where he proposed "A Dust Insulation   
   Model". Dust candidates like SiO2, NaCl and CaCO3 are all known to be   
   miscible in supercritical CO2, according to industrial patent.
