|    Need help with my experiments.    |

From: jsprat396@gmail.com               Hello everybody, I am an amateur scientist. I replicate experiments in       prebiotic chemistry at home, the results of which are posted on my YouTube       channel. For the most part, I am able to replicate these experiments       successfully according to the        original experimental protocol. However, I have only chemical reagents and a       UV/VIS spectrophotometer to analyze the results of each experiment. This       becomes a problem when the products of the original experiment are measured in       micrograms per liter,        or other very minute quantities. I was wondering if there are labs which I       could send my samples to which would analyze the results using HPLC, gas       chromatography or other more sophisticated methods which I simply don't have       at my disposal. For example,        there are articles which discuss how the nucleotide base uracil can be made       from b-alanine and urea. I have tried this myself with very poor results when       it comes to determining which products were produced from the experiment. Any       help that anyone        here could provide would be greatly appreciated. Thanks a lot!                       J.G.              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
