   A friend had a clear tempered glass patio table with an umbrella. A   
   windstorm grabbed the umbrella and broke the glass. The glass broke into   
   a million pieces, but the odd thing was was they were all brown! What   
   happened, chemically or physically, that caused the glass to go from   
   clear to brown when it broke?
