   Cloud can rarely cover an entire country at the same time.

   Nope - its easy to calculate net area required.   
   The batteries are also small to store enough power   
   into the night.   
   For the USA this number is 100x100 miles solar and   
   1 sq mile battery.   
      
   You don't need to have centralized solar or centralized   
   batteries - the most efficient is to bury a   
   container sized battery at the end of every street   
   and put solar panels on roofs, fencing around   
   roads, on the paving etc.   
   Most large structures such as train stations   
   will generate far more power than they need   
   and export it to the local batteries.   
      
   This is the main reason for:   
      
   Solar cheaper than all other energy

   Time to start a wave of prosecutions against   
   incumbent energy producers, their lobbyists and   
   political supporter for any obstruction including illegal   
   lobbying, illegal laws, illegal levies,   
   illegal barriers to trade, illegal collusion   
   illegal price fixing and illegal energy trading.   
      
   The lawyers are going to love it.   
   Those with solar muscle are going to love it   
   because all other forms of energy production   
   is no longer of any value trying to compete   
   with free energy.
