   Dummy. It is SPRING in the S Hem and even so in Australia the fire season   
   is in full boom 3 months ahead of historical schedule.   
      
   We know that avg summer temps are about 1.5C warmer than avg winter   
   temps in the N Hem.   
      
   In the Southern Hem it's more like 0.9C because mo ocean.   
      
   Since avg temps have increased around 1C since pre industrial times   
   WINTERS in the S Hem are now as warm as SUMMER used to be.   
   (Winter warming rates are about 2x summer -- a classic fingerprint of   
   AGW).   
      
   The situation is even more extreme in the N Hem.   
      
   And of course, SUMMERS are now "2x" what they were 150y ago.   
      
   But don't worry, things are projected to get 3x more extreme by 2100.
