   World Health Organisation 'blocked' travel ban calls from experts over

   Sky News digital editor Jack Houghton says the World Health Organisation   
   "blocked" calls earlier this year after doctors and experts wanted to issue   
   a travel ban in response to COVID-19.   
      
   The meeting, which was on January 30, was held in Geneva.   
      
   "They won't tell me the names because they don't want these guys to come   
   under fire," Mr Houghton told Sky News host Chris Kenny.   
      
   "The official meeting records say there was a divergence of views but they   
   won't go into detail about who was trying to block it.   
      
   "But there were doctors there who wanted to issue a travel ban and the World   
   Health Organisation blocked it."
