   In the Olden Days like the 1980s La Nina meant coolder daytime   
   temps and more rain in E Aus. But all bets are off now the temp   
   has moved up a degree. More rain means more brush grows,   
   dries out as the peak of summer approaches, all ready to burn.   
   The models they're running nowadays say to start burning off now.   
   NSW started to prepare for an early fire season this week.
