   In other obvious news Sydney is in a panic after discovering 17 covid   
   cases wandering the streets in the northern suburbs.  Genomic testing   
   shows it's an O/S strain.   
   Big surprise.   
   A few travellers were discovered at Melb airport without going through   
   testing let alone quarantine. This has been a bit of a problem all   
   year -- officials up in NSW apparently think it's fine to direct O/S   
   travellers without notice down to Melb without doing any tests up   
   there. Fortunately, most of these have been detected by staff at Melb   
   airport.   
   But given that keeps happening what are the odds O/S travellers are   
   allowed to get off international flights and drive home to some beach   
   suburb of N Sydney without a check?
