|    [Web Feed] Identifying the river hydrolo    |

From: feed.supplier@somewhere.cbr              Hello everyone, I hope I have come to the right place.              I need help identifying the regime of a river in Trentino, Italy. It is a       heavily regulated river, of which I have the       hydrometrical data: https://www.floods.it/public/DatiStorici/DSd       wnload.php?Arg=Ponte%20Arche&Corpo=fiume%20Sarca&Type=Portate        of a station located some kilometers downstream a dam. Analyzing the data, I       have observed that the river presents a very low flow (due to the water       abstraction for power production) with very high and isolated peaks in the       second half of the year.              My hypothesis is that these peaks are the result of sudden water releases from       the dam, which occur because of heavy rains and maybe snow melt in the second       half of the year. Do you think this is a reasonable explanation? What could be       other reasons        behind the high flow peaks?              Thank you in advance                     --       Generated automatically from a Web feed              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
