   TLDR (blind).

Here's the method I've used at kaggle.com to analyze usenet traffic
   to spot trolls and psychos.

Take validated posting times and make a little frequency chart.
For the "dont mail me" guys with the relevant agents we find this:

   GMT #posts
   0 18
   1 21
   2 9
   3 8
   4 14
   5 10
   6 14
   7 3
   8 6
   9 1
   10 12
   11 13
   12 8
   13 4
   14 14
   15 65 <-- bump
   16 48
   17 24
   18 35
   19 60 <-- bump
   20 34
   21 24
   22 30
   23 26

It turns out amateur operations normally spray out posts randomly
but because of that the average posting time is around local midday.
So all you have to do to locate the logitude is get the gmt post
time (e.g. the injection info is good for that -- ignore the ostensible
posting date) and just see what that is relative to midday GMT.

E.g. we see 2 bumps in the above at "15" and "19". If that is
their local time then the "15" is GMT+3 and the "19" is GMT+7.

   GMT+3 coresponds mostly with Moscow.

GMT+7 is most likely Vietnam but can include other boilerroom
operations in Malaysia, Indonesia, Cambodia, etc just willing to
   work for Russian kippers.
