   He who controls the GHG controls how much heat coming up from   
   the earth is reflected back to the earth.   
      
   Hence while the sun has been getting less active (i.e.   
   the number of sunspots) over the past 50y the global temp has   
   still been increasing.   
      
   Maybe your  Pr packet dates back to the 1970s and doesnt cover   
   all the material. :)   
      
   I await with interest your picking out the year of the Carrington event   
   from that list I've posted.
