   (generally)  "Previous" is syn. with  "earlier"   
      
      
   Previous Page:    page 2 -- "Previous"  means  [The page where you were   
                                                     probably at Previously]   
      
   Previous Entries: page 4 -- "Previous"  means  "earlier date"   
      
   Next Entries:     page 2 -- "Next"  means  "Later date"
