I was going to ask... Are you related to the famous translator?

but I had the surname(s) a bit mixed up...........

   R. J. Hollingdale (Reginald John Hollingdale, 1930–2001) was a British
biographer and translator, especially known for his translations of German
philosophy and literature, including the works of Friedrich Nietzsche, Goethe,
   E. T. A. Hoffmann, G. C.
   Lichtenberg, and Schopenhauer.
