   No, certainly not.

It's actually much more difficult and my theory goes like this:

'Semites' are the name of the common ethnicity of those, who spoke
   semitic languages.

These people were mainly what today are called 'Arabs'.

But most Jews today are not Arabs, but 'Askenazim'.

These Jews have not a single drop of blood in common with the biblical
Jews, because they actually stem from a set of tribes called
'Scythians', who had a state called Khazaria in the region which is
   today Ukraine.

The Ashkenazim claim to be the preferred people, mentioned in the bible.

That is actually not the case, since the Jews of the bible were 'black'.

The Nazis prosecuted the Jews and forced them to flee to Palestine (and
   to the USA).

Now they realize, that Palestine 'sucks' and want to get back to THEIR
roots, which is actually the Ukraine.

With the help of their allies in Russia, Germany ('Askenaz' means
'Germany') and USA they force the people of the Ukraine out of their
   homeland, hence they could return.
