From: janburse@fastmail.fm              Example of a currency that disappeared:              In 1999, the Deutsche Mark was replaced       by the euro; its coins and banknotes remained       in circulation, defined in terms of euros,       until the introduction of euro notes and       coins on 1 January 2002.              Similarly BTC can be replaced by a crowd       event. You will just see people selling       their BTC and buying who knows what,              DOGE, SOL, etc.. The better coins with       unlimmited supply. It will happen when       there is an impasse in BTC because it is              limmited. The problem is only it seems       BTC is not only an M1 currency, it might       already appear in books and become an              M2 currency. Then, well, it could be even       easier to get rid of it. This was all       exercise also with Deutsche Mark.              Physfitfreak schrieb:       > On 10/8/24 05:38, Mild Shock wrote:       >> No, no, it will crash.
