   'MAD' is an abbreviation for 'the people   
   of the world are insane'?   
      
   For WWII it was not TV, there was only   
   a little bit of that before then.   
      
   I guess 'fiction' often means 'not true'   
   regardless of if it might be thought of   
   as entertaining or not entertaining.   
      
   I guess books, magazines, and newspapers   
   can transmit false and destructive information   
   just like everything else. Yes the radio was   
   not in widespread use during WWI.
