Yea I remember reading Hobbe's 'Leviathan' a while back.

He wrote in the 1600s. He said there were two major
theories about persons with excessive anger or 'madness'.

One was that they had diseases of the organs or infirmity
of the body and the other was that they are demoniacs.

I guess there is Dawkins in modern times who considers
himself to be an 'atheist' but does not specify the
god that he does NOT believe in. (Like that guy that
wrote 'On the god of Socrates' in ancient times. Something
such as 'the gods send messengers to men' or 'angelos'
for 'messenger'.) This 'people are walking bags of
memes' idea has existed for some while with 'meme'
being ancient 'sprits' renamed in a lot of ways. Then
of course the word 'diabolis' means 'to cast against'.

There is of course 'conservation of energy' and low
and high 'entropy'. And of course there is Montesquieu's
'The Spirit of the Laws' which could be summarized as
'there are laws of god, laws of man, and laws of nature'.
If you want to get philosophical, there is the question -
'do physical laws exist', or are they simply ideals that
are not actually observed in reality. What path does
a bird decide to fly toward? Can you actually model
that in a reliable manner? Does that really reduce
to a simple equation or not? Perhaps the world is
mostly chaos and entropy anyway in the physical
world that is actually observed. It would be nice
to dream about a world in the future where both
mind uploading and time travel were able to be
coupled together to produce actual afterlives upon
death, but of course if the summation of all of
our 'entropy' adds up to this not being possible
either individually or en masse, then perhaps
the 'evil' or 'entropy' that we do now gradually
destroys the possibility of that ever happening.
Yea some of this 'diabolis' or 'to cast against'
in this group is rather bad, and I have been
   doing it also.
