I don't know the       exact number of years, but felt like at least five years of the most       joking war. It wasn't even war, because neither side could fight and       weren't real soldiers. India would advance 10 kilometers into an area of       Pakestan that didn't even have flies in it, let alone Pakestani       soldiers, then Pakestan would advance 10 km into an empty area adjacent       to where Indian forces were to avoid confronting them.              Five fucking years of that! It was so ridiculous that when UN at last       forced both sides into peace, the entire border between them had       literally become a sinusoidal line from north to south exactly placed on       top of the earlier border between them...              They can't fight. Too scared to fight. They're just all words and anger       and childish reactions back and forth. 5 fucking years of seeing that       creep's face Shastri on every fucking newspaper is still to this day a       pain in my head.              I was sick of it. Even in the elementary school! And then we heard       Shastri had died. Everybody was like, "Oh thanks to FUCKING GOD for that!"              Even his fucking death wasn't withheld from us kids. Even in death that       creep bothered us.              --- SoupGate-DOS v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
