   SEATTLE (TND) — Rapper Macklemore said “F*** America” at a Seattle concert   
   Saturday night, according to footage shared on social media.   
      
   The rapper, whose legal name is Ben Haggerty, told the audience of the   
   “Palestine Will Live Forever” festival to continue talking before he made   
   the comment, the video shared by X user Cam Higby shows.   
      
   Straight up. Say it. I’m not gonna stop you. I’m not gonna stop you,”   
   Haggerty said. “Um, yeah, f*** America.”   
   It’s unclear what the crowd was saying before he spoke, but many attendees   
   began cheering after. The rapper performed “Hind’s Hall” at the festival,   
   which its organizers said raised money for groups providing humanitarian   
   aid for civilians in the Israel-Hamas war.   
      
   “Hind’s Hall” praises the anti-Israel protests that took place on college   
   campuses throughout the last academic year. The title references Hamilton   
   Hall, a Columbia University academic building which protesters barricaded   
   themselves into in April.   
      
   Protesters at the time called the building “Hind’s Hall” in support of a   
   Palestinian girl who died in the war.   
      
   Haggerty released “Hind’s Hall 2” on Friday in collaboration with   
   Palestinian and U.S. artists. They warn Vice President Kamala Harris in   
   the song to stop supporting Israel or risk losing Michigan in the   
   election.   
      
   Michigan has one of the largest Arab American populations in the country.   
      
   Hey Kamala, I don't know if you listening. But stop sending money and   
   weapons, you ain't winning Michigan. We uncommitted, and hell no, we ain't   
   switching positions,” the lyrics read.   
      
   The Biden administration, which Harris is a part of, has conditioned   
   military support to Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. Harris has   
   argued that while Israel has a right to defend itself, civilian casualties   
   must also be curbed.   
      
   During a rally last month, the vice president cautioned pro-Palestine   
   protesters against interrupting her speech, pointing to the effect it   
   might have on the election.   
      
   “You know what? If you want Donald Trump to win, then say that. Otherwise,   
   I’m speaking,” she said.
