    The horror is already here and I am aghast.   
      
   I live in a small town in a red state. Regardless of party or status it   
   has always been a close community. Now Trump has been elected and I am   
   shocked at how quickly things have gone south.   
      
   Last summer my long time friend and neighbor moved to be closer to her   
   work at the university so she would not have to commute through another   
   winter. She rented her place to a Latino family (I think they were   
   Mexican which is irrelevant) that also works at the university. They were   
   pretty typical folks that did weekend cookouts and their teenage son   
   tinkered on clunker cars. They were always cordial with a wave and a   
   smile.   
      
   Last Wednesday someone threw a rock through their window and kicked in   
   the front door. They moved out yesterday. Can you blame them?
