   I'm pretty certain they measure by percentage increase, seeing as one   
   trillion of today's USD is equivalent to around $3 billion of 1900 USD.   
   Not an exact number but you are welcome to calculate it.  I arrived at   
   $3 billion from:   
     	A 2025 caramel sundae which cost 1   
   	penny in 1900 is currently $4.79 @   
   	McDonald's on Doordash.com   
      
   I'll keep an eye out and if it is brought up in the news again I can   
   refer to it in these newsgroups.  I've had no luck searching for old   
   articles in the news - they disappear for some reason.
