   Maybe so... maybe not.  You say it's so and I'm sure you're an expert.   
   On any topic that is raised on USENET, if the OP isn't an expert, just   
   wait around... one will show up shortly.   
      
   But, to address your important question (such that you may obtain   
   wisdom and knowledge), please define "attributes" as applied to this   
   particularly ancient piece of software.  As I recall, that was an open   
   source, beta version that I once used in a TCP/IP class I was teaching   
   about 2000 or so.  (Since I have such low credibility in your opinion,   
   you might want to Google that version and let us know what you see.)   
   It's written in ANSI C (and I used to have the source code, but that   
   was a quarter century ago); no object orientation; therefore, no   
   objects; therefore, no objective attributes.   
      
   But, you don't know what I'm talking about, do you, Headley?  That's   
   OK, son; I don't know what you're talking about either, so we're even.
