is this a common problem ?

found that i changed default to https://mirrors.slackware.com/sl
ckware/slackware64-current/ solves my initial problem not get up2date info,
lets see if that holds water longer, i was tired of friends that have a never
kernel then i have :)

running now 4.19.4 amd64 (atom cpu)
